It has been said that healing is the dinner bell to Salvation, and while our discipleship team was in Thailand, we saw firsthand how true that statement is.  

At one of the family festivals held at the beginning of our main ministry week, a man from a village about 40 minutes away experienced a remarkable miracle. He had been deaf in one of his ears for many years, and when we prayed for healing, his ear was opened by the power of Jesus! He came to the stage to testify of what Jesus had done for him and was elated over the miracle he had received. He was so excited that when he returned to his village, he began sharing with the people there about how he could hear now! The people there were astonished, and began asking him, what happened? How can you hear now?!   

Fast forward to discipleship week. We shared records of the miracles from the festivals with the local pastors we were working with. One pastor happened to call the number of the man whose ear had been healed. The man was thrilled and invited the pastor and our team to visit his village and share the message we had at the festival.  

Our team was prepared to spring into action, but we were blessed to discover that the local church had beaten us to it! With the knowledge that they had gained from watching us plan, and execute the festivals during our main ministry week, they went to work to put together an outreach to this man’s village. The man had estimated that we may have 20 people come, but the anticipation of hearing how this man received his healing brought over 80 people. As we helped the local church set up chairs and sound equipment, we bore witness to our follow-up training being activated in the church body.   

Many attendees received Jesus that night, some experienced healing, and all heard the Good News!   

We were excited to hear that the local church has continued to go to that village and hope to eventually plant a church!
