It was a Thursday afternoon when 131 GV team members converged on a small community in Arica, Chile—a place seemingly forgotten by outsiders. Life here was harsh, with little to offer that day beyond the relentless desert heat. The people here faced a very real need for clean drinking water, but even more pressing was their need for the Living Water.

As our team set up, the atmosphere shifted. Joyful music filled the air, inviting everyone within earshot to gather. Two clowns kicked off the fun, drawing smiles and laughter until a crowd had formed.

Then, we transitioned to share the greatest story of all—the message of Jesus Christ, the Living Water.

That afternoon, several prayed to receive Him, and what followed was a vivid demonstration of His power.

Ten-year-old Diana had suffered from stomach aches for three years. After prayer, every symptom was gone, and she stood before the community to testify that she was completely healed!

Seventy-year-old Antonia had endured seven years of pain throughout her body, unable to lift her arms higher than her chest. But after prayer, the pain left her instantly. With joy, she stretched her arms high above her head—something she had not been able to do for years!

Miracles like these reminded everyone that the message we shared was not just words, but truth backed by the power of God.

Afterward, our team demonstrated how to use life-saving water filters—practical tools that would provide families with the clean drinking water they so desperately needed. It was a powerful picture of both needs being met: the physical need for clean water and the eternal need for the Living Water, Jesus Christ.
