Ever since high school, Emily knew she was called to be a missionary, but she also had a strong passion for photography. The CORE Program, Global Ventures’ internship, was the perfect fit! Emily completed all three years of CORE with a focus on the Creative Department in her 2nd and 3rd years. She graduated in 2020 and is now a full-time missionary at Global Ventures and as of 2022 is on staff as our Digital Media Specialist!
In a similar way, Parker felt a call to full-time ministry shortly after high school. Coupled with his experience in children’s ministry and six mission trips, he’s passionate about reaching people of all ages with the Gospel! He is excited to be going to the Global Ventures School of Missions to learn how to be a frontline Harvester for the 2022-2023 year. Together, they are devoted to sharing the love of God around the world and reaching those who have never heard the Gospel before. Parker and Emily have been married since May 2022 and live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
Role at GV & Ministry Plans
Emily serves Global Ventures in the Creative Department as the Digital Media Specialist and Parker will be joining Global Ventures this year as a Global Ventures School of Missions student while he is also working at Nelson Nissan in Broken Arrow, OK. Their long-term goal is for both to be full-time missionaries and raise support to say “yes” to every project God has planned for them.
This past year, they have worked in Ecuador, Albania, and Peru and in 2022 they will be working in Zambia, Honduras, Albania, and Thailand. Your support covers all their travel costs, missions projects in-country, and a portion of Emily’s salary for the year.
