Terri gained her degree in Poultry Science from Auburn University. During college, she went on her first mission trip and knew she was called to the nations. Upon graduating, she started working in the poultry business but also began looking for organizations that trained missionaries. Through friends and family, Terri was introduced to Global Ventures. After a couple of trips with GV and getting caught up in promotions of corporate life and the American dream, she felt the call to leave it all behind and follow what had been on her heart for many years, sharing the Gospel with the unreached of the world.
She did just that, and in 2019 she moved to Tulsa, OK to be part of the Global Ventures CORE Program. After completing all three years of the internship and graduating in 2022, she is now thrilled to live out her calling as a member of the Global Ventures staff. Terri loves sharing the Gospel all around the world and helping others realize their calling to share as well!
Role at GV & Ministry Plans
Terri works in both the Mission Trips and Financial Departments at Global Ventures, and also works part-time at Olive Garden. In these departments, she helps coordinate team members and their needs for GV trips each year, and she helps process ministry and team member donations.
Terri’s goal is to have the flexibility to continue traveling to many nations yearly to share with those who have never heard the Gospel. In 2022, she spent a total of 2.5 months overseas working in Zambia, Honduras, and Thailand. In 2023, Terri is excited to be working in Brazil, Romania, India, and Bangladesh. Your support covers all travel costs, mission projects, and a portion of Terri’s salary for the year.
