This summer in Paraguay, our discipleship team encountered a precious woman named Juana who shared that she had been struggling with suicidal thoughts before attending the festival. Thankfully, she received two invitations from GV teams while she was on the streets.

Since the festival, Juana has felt a profound change in herself. She has been spending time with God daily and has rediscovered her Bible. Previously, she and her husband had preached the Gospel in Argentina, but after returning to Paraguay, they separated.

After being away from church for seven years, Juana has been actively searching for a place to worship. She was so excited that our team had shown up at her home with leaders from a local church. She was eagerly looking forward to attending the church later that weekend.

During our prayer time with Juana, she began to shake and drop to her knees, experiencing a deeply moving moment of connection with God. It was clear that she had been profoundly changed by this encounter.
